"My accounts were transferred to Ms. Beem when my agent of 30 years retired. Agents can make or break your experience with State Farm which is a fine company but Ms. Beem is not a good agent and her office is chaos. Phones are not answered or messages are not returned. Costly mistakes are made by untrained or overwhelmed staff. I thought I was finally done with her office when I received an email today notifying me of an autodraft on an account I closed over a year ago. It was difficult to find a good number that is answered. I had to leave a message for correct person to call me back. I hope they do but I don't have any confidence from past experience with this office. Regrets."

"Let me preface by saying- I can’t comment on Sarah herself- I never actually had any contact with her in our 2.5 years with them. Office staff was always very friendly. I am writing this to give others a heads up. A few weeks ago- my husband and I got a letter from State Farm. It looked like the monthly statement that I typically don’t pay much attention to. Luckily I paid attention to this. It was a notice our insurance was being cancelled. Neither my husband nor I have had an at fault wreck or a ticket of any kind in more than a decade (probably closer to 15 years). My husband was in a wreck a little over a year ago where the other driver was deemed 100% at fault (and they were insured and their insurance covered everything) The other things that went against us were 2 glass claims in 2 years. I specifically called the office and spoke to the staff before making the glass claim. I was told on 2 occasions it did not count against you. Obviously had I known it went against us we wouldn’t have filed a claim. One of them was for $65. Not to mention- we received no communication from Sarah Beem’s office regarding our policy being cancelled. Luckily the letter didn’t get lost in the mail and we were not unknowingly without coverage. I have been driving for more than 25 years- 24 of those as a State Farm customer. Luckily I was able to get a better rate and better coverage through a great agent at AllState who has been great with communication. I am aware that individual agents don’t make decisions about coverage- but the inaccurate information provided by staff and lack of communication regarding our policy being cancelled was mind blowing."

"Really bad experience. They changed my policy and blamed the underwriters for all the explanations they were unable to give me! They increased the premium in one of my cars that we dont use at all and that has been paid in full over $100 dollars and when i went to the office to find out why, Holly simply said “there are multiple factors that statistically determine that increase” her incompetence and lack of knowledge was appalling as she kept blaming the underwriters for all the unauthorized changes in my policy. She even said that they could take up to 3 billing cycles to update changes or discounts. She was rude, entitled and.. did i mention incompetent? Please save your time and go somewhere else to ensure your automobiles"

"Hi Sarah, I just wanted to let you know how awesome your agent Jeannie Kessler has been for me. Jesse was my agent since I came on board with you last year, no issues at all with Jesse but Jeannie answered my call one day during this glass claim mess and informed me that he was no longer with State Farm. I made a claim for a glass replacement on my car and have been having issues with both Linksys and Safelite and this claim has dragged out for a few weeks. I spent a lot of time on the phone between Linksys and Safelite day after day and was very frustrated. My expectation with the process was I make a claim, I get a call from the glass company, we schedule a day and time and they do a replacement. That was not happening until Jeannie got involved. Jeannie has a very positive attitude and is very detailed in her conversations and going over information. She has exceeded my expectations on many levels between her willingness to get me answers and getting this claim resolved. I won't be using Safelite again, this is the second glass repair I have had issues with them. She gave me a list of other suppliers and has done an excellent job in following up and doing what she says she is going to do. Her cheerfulness and friendly demeanor is not typical anymore when it comes to customer service. I just wanted to recognize her, too often companies receive negative feedback compared to positive feedback, but I think it is more important to let someone know when their employee stands out to a customer. I hope I can keep her as my new agent because I know she does not rest on her laurels and will get the job done! Very impressed with Jeannie and she turned a bad situation into a very positive situation. I will be having my new windshield installed next Friday at First Choice Auto Glass thanks to her!"

"I locked my keys in my car and had to call the agency. Sarah was amazing. She sent my policy number to me and connected me to roadside service. She made a very difficult day I was having so much easier. I didn’t have to look up anything and the roadside assistance was so easy to use. They tracked the driver that was coming to me and the technician called twice to give me an update. This is the one-on-one service you look for."
